IBU is a body control module that centrally manages signals from various electrical and electronic systems within the vehicle.
It integrates multiple ECUs (Electronic Control Units) into a single unit—specifically combining functions of the BCM (Body Control Module), SMK (Smart Key System), TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), and PAS (Parking Assist System).
By consolidating these four control units, the IBU improves the efficiency of the vehicle’s electrical system, simplifies wiring structures, and enhances overall system stability.
